It focuses on training unemployed people, school dropouts, and students in bead crafting and shoe-making, including sandals and slippers for both males and females. Beyond job creation, the project promotes creativity and fashion. Inspired by personal experience, the initiative supports economic growth, empowers participants with sustainable skills, and helps students complement their creative arts education while preparing for self-reliance.

About the Millennium Fellow

Mabel Obiyaa Anokye it's a young, beautiful and intelligent girl who was born in Kumasi, Ghana on the 6 December 2003. She's currently an agricultural biotechnology student at Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology. Her passion for zero poverty started when she saw how poverty had a stroke down her family apart, even though it broke her down seeing the young people on streets begging for money and others wasting their life broke her down more, so she decided to impact her small world by giving out skills which can help others to also make money to meet their financial needs This passion drove her into learning a skill for self and then teaching others as well. She started her journey by training other young ladies and young men in the year 2024. Where she trained about 80 students on how to make beads work. This bead work was supposed to grant them understanding to some technical things. They were learning and also not be ideal after their SHS education. The journey hasn't been easy, but passion has been driving her till now, and she believes with the help incorporation of other people like-minded of course would be able to make "operation zero poverty" possible thank you.
