" I believe every community deserves access to quality healthcare and the knowledge to live healthier lives. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it offers the platform, network, and guidance to transform this belief into tangible, lasting impact. It’s a chance to learn, lead, and collaborate with like-minded change makers who are equally passionate about creating a better world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Hands, Healthy Lives
Healthy Hands, Healthy Lives is a project aimed at creating awareness and educating the community as a whole on the importance of maintaining adequate hand hygiene. This is to promote health and overall well-being. Proper handwashing goes a long way in the prevention of communicable diseases which are very rampant in both rural and urban communities in Nigeria. This project will incorporate community outreach programs and interactive demonstrations to teach the proper handwashing technique and provision of hand sanitizers. This project will target schools, health facilities, and local communities.
