Millennium Fellowship Project: Roots Reimagined
This project focuses on mental health under SDG 3, with particular attention to youth from broken families who are often more vulnerable to mental health challenges. It seeks to address the problems faced by these young people and explore ways to cope with and prevent negative patterns that continue to affect and destroy the lives of youth.
The target audience is youth aged 15 to 30 within my local area and campus. During the Millennium Fellowship, the project established promising partnerships with NMB xPlug and the campus counsellor, engaged in dialogue with peer-led groups, and organized a mental health awareness activity on 10th October 2025. Through these activities, I was able to actively discuss mental health issues affecting youth and university students, and explore ways to avoid, manage, and prevent mental health challenges, contributing to fast-tracking SDG 3.
