" I believe that informed, empowered young people can transform their communities. The Millennium Fellowship gives me the platform to amplify voices, challenge stigma, and drive lasting change in sexual and reproductive health "
Millennium Fellowship Project: TAMIDA
TAMIDA is something I’m really passionate about because it focuses on three areas that matter so much to our everyday lives: sexual reproductive health, mental health, and nutrition. These are things we all need to be talking about, but sometimes they're brushed aside, and TAMIDA is working to change that. When it comes to sexual reproductive health, TAMIDA helps people understand their bodies and make informed choices. It’s all about giving everyone the knowledge they need to feel in control and confident about their health. Mental health is such a big part of well-being, and I love how TAMIDA is breaking down the stigma around it. It’s so important to have honest conversations about mental health, and TAMIDA is creating a space where people feel safe to talk, ask questions, and get the support they deserve. And nutrition—well, that’s the fuel we need to feel our best, right? TAMIDA helps us understand how what we eat affects our physical and mental health. They make it easier to make healthier choices and take better care of ourselves. Overall, TAMIDA is about helping people take charge of their health in a real, approachable way, and that’s something I’m all in for.
