Millennium Fellowship Project: DAYAN
DAYAN: is a project that is a support for people who have already gone through or are suffering from abuse, towards helping them deal with the psychological problems they are facing, and to access the resources that able to assistance in their recovery process. The first step of the project was to make the case count of abuse victims and get the news with NGOs and analyze the report of government bodies to know the other emotional and mental trauma that the victims go through. Experts will help us out understand the challenges these survivors have to face everyday. We will help them by meeting them in person, supporting them and creating awareness on the various government schemes, scholarships and opportunities which can help them reconstruct their lives. The rehabilitation and sensality that comes out of the survivors will be qualitative and will be measured as success: by the extent to which the survivors become sensitized toward the support offered. Our plan is to change their lives and help them emotionally heal. By the end of the semester, the project will be able to see the overall improvements in their well being and awareness as evident by the fact.
