" Honestly, I have always admired the Millennium Fellowship from afar. Seeing people driven to create change simply because they care and not for selfish reasons, has been deeply inspiring. This passion for impact is why I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow.
Becoming a Millennium Fellow will not only provide a larger platform for social impact but also connect me with brilliant minds who share a commitment to change-making. In the future, I will make use of the networks and relationships built through the Fellowship to execute more projects. It will also give me the opportunity to both lead and support other meaningful social impact initiatives. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Bithiah 2.0

Project Bithiah 2.0 is an extension of Project Bithiah, which I led last year to address discrimination faced by female students in tertiary institutions. This year, the focus shifts to empowering female secondary school students by educating and inspiring them about the endless possibilities available to them. With the theme "Education for All," the plan includes organizing a workshop in a nearby school. To fund this initiative, we will run a fundraiser, with the proceeds used to provide stationery for the students during the workshop. The project aligns with two key Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education (SDG 4) and Gender Equality (SDG 5). Additionally, we aim to collaborate with other organizations to ensure its success.

About the Millennium Fellow

Peace Amudipe refers to herself as a builder; of people, ideas, and bridges that connect the underprivileged to places where policies are made. She is committed to fairness, equality, and gender equity, aligning with SDG-5. Inspired by her mother’s advocacy and her father’s logic, she blends empathy with analytical thinking. Known as “The Earth’s Pilgrim,” Peace lives with purpose, boldly championing women’s rights, combating gender-based violence, and opposing the sexual abuse of minors.
