ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

The Fellowship will help me strengthen these efforts, align them with the UNAI principles and SDGs, and collaborate with like-minded peers to create sustainable, real-world solutions. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: ILLUMINATED

Our project for Millennium Fellowship Program 2025 is the continuation of IlluminatEd. Illuminated as the name suggests, endeavors to illuminate the lives of children belonging to underserved communities by providing quality education that aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4. What differentiates us from other projects centered around the same subject is our innovative way of imparting knowledge which not only confines itself to traditional formal education but goes beyond by teaching them meaningful lessons that will help them become well-rounded assets to their communities Our intention is to help them understand life in a more effective way instruction techniques that would assist them grow personally into decent individuals. We would also aim to enhance their critical thinking and inform them of their rights and responsibilities as participants of the community, nurturing their Leadership and the ability to make decisions. We will take the lead in instructing them on crucial elements of genuine education must enable the learner to understand. This would encompass equality in gender, hygiene, ecological ,safeguarding, maltreatment of children and employment of minors to enumerate a some. This would allow them to make a contribution.

About the Millennium Fellow

Vansh Prakash is a third-year law student at Symbiosis Law School, passionate about using the law as a tool for social change. He has worked with Bachpan Bachao Andolan, founded by Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi, and the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), contributing to initiatives that protect children’s rights and improve access to justice. Vansh has also gained experience through national-level moot court competitions, where he has sharpened his advocacy and research skills. Deeply interested in constitutional law, human rights, and sustainable development, he aspires to build a career that upholds the rule of law while creating meaningful, lasting change in society.
