Millennium Fellowship Project: Sensei - AI for Smart Education
Sensei is a AI based system that can sense and analyse facial expression and voice tone during online meets/lectures. Due to which the host / teachers of the meeting can understand engagement and understanding of the participants. It is helpful to the online educators and professional during online meetings. At the beginning level we are focusing more on the educational platforms as we had experienced this scenarios closely and also it will be more efficient.
About the Millennium Fellow
Vedant Gaikwad is an engineering student specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, with a strong commitment to leveraging technology for meaningful societal impact. His work includes the development of innovative projects such as Sensei, an emotion-aware meeting platform, and an AI-based crop health monitoring system. In addition to his academic achievements, Vedant demonstrates leadership, discipline, and teamwork through his involvement in sports, particularly volleyball. Guided by values of mindfulness and continuous learning, he strives to design solutions that bridge innovation with real-world human needs.
