" Teamwork and sustainability.
I believe that being a part of the Millennium Fellowship class I get to work with others in my community and that would help foster my teamwork. And also the positive change we will create together will help foster sustainability and I believe being a team player and a suitability leader will help me in my future endeavours. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Flow and Grow Initiative
The Flow and Grow initiative aims to provide school books for underprivileged young children, advising them on the importance of education and staying in school. The project also addresses menstrual fluid education and distributes sanitary pads to young girls in school.
The Flow and Grow Initiative was more than just a project. It was a chance to make a real difference during the Millennium Fellowship. I set out to reach 500 girls, but I ended up engaging only 130 students.
We talked about education and menstrual health. I was glad to be able to provide writing materials with sanitary pads for the students.
