Millennium Fellowship Project: Health for All
This project focuses on improving public health awareness and access to education for underserved communities in Nigeria. As a pharmacy student passionate about preventive healthcare, I participate in health outreaches to educate people on hygiene, disease prevention, and basic healthcare practices. I also work with organizations that support young girls and youths in gaining education and leadership skills. My goal is to expand these efforts by organizing more community outreach programs, providing free learning resources, and partnering with organizations to offer health screenings and awareness campaigns. Through this project, I aim to empower people with knowledge and resources to improve their well-being and future opportunities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Peter Eyo is a fourth year pharmacy student at the University of Benin, Nigeria. He is passionate about advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to health, education, and sustainable communities. With a strong background in leadership, research, and public health engagement, he is committed to creating innovative solutions that improve access to healthcare and foster community development. Peter aspires to drive impact through collaboration, advocacy, and sustainable initiatives.
