" Leadership, creativity, communication, collaboration, dedication, and problem-solving drive my work. The Millennium Fellowship gives me the opportunity to strengthen these skills while working with others toward meaningful change. I am excited to translate my passion into tangible social impact for schools, young girls, women, and the wider community—advancing the UNAI principles of education for all and the unlearning of intolerance. Through this journey, I look forward to enhancing my ability to envision new ways of learning, creativity, and impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerHer health

We learn about personal hygiene but not everyone knows how to practice it. You know, as females we get to the age of menstruation and some females do not still know how to care for themselves. As a team, we look forward to educating young girls about their reproductive health as females, how to practice good hygiene during Menstruation and the diseases associated with Hormonal imbalances. A lot of people, think menstruation is all about facing Menstrual cramps, using NSAIDs or buying Sanitary pads but it's more than just that. We also look forward to solicit for funds for the EmpowerHer Health project, reaching out to influential people on social media to support our dream project. From the amount of funds raised, we hope to give out Sanitary pads and soaps to the empowered young girls or beneficiaries of the project. It's also our aim to educated them on proper usage and disposal of sanitary pads. These days, some people still make use of tissue paper and clothes as sanitary towels, which is unhygienic. We aim to educate on the importance of sanitary pads and encourage proper disposal. Being a woman isn't easy. Looking forward to a great experience.
