Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerHer Digital Education Initiative
EmpowerHer Digital Education Initiative provides digital literacy, AI awareness, and professional skill-building training for girls and schoolteachers in Pakistan. The project focuses on reducing the digital divide by offering accessible workshops, practical demonstrations, and guidance on using digital tools for learning and teaching. Through these sessions, the project empowers women and educators to improve their digital confidence, expand opportunities, and participate more effectively in the digital world.
About the Millennium Fellow
Syeda Munazza Bukhari is an undergraduate student at the University of the People, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Passionate about advancing SDG 4 – Quality Education, she founded EmpowerHer Digital Education to provide free digital skills training for women and foundational English and math workshops for school students in Pakistan. With a GPA of 3.84 and a strong background in academic coaching, mentoring, and community service, Syeda is committed to bridging the digital divide and empowering underprivileged learners to access opportunities for personal and economic growth.
