ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Legal Literacy for Young Students

My project is in line with SDG16 and SDG 4. The project aim is to.visit children in various school;primary schools, junior high schools and senior high schools to educate them on the basic legal rights and the amenities available to them in case someone infringes on their rights. The initiative will cover legal topics like Rape, defilement, child labour and child abuse.

About the Millennium Fellow

Gloria Maame Ama Aidoo, an ambitious and compassionate young woman from Tema, is currently studying at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. A proven leader as Head Girls’ Prefect and SRC Vice President at Breman Asikuma Senior High School, she promotes teamwork, equity, and student welfare. Thoughtful, responsible, and detail-oriented, Gloria enjoys working with people and creating welcoming environments. Passionate about social issues such as poverty, malnutrition, streetism, and women’s rights, she aspires to contribute meaningfully the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Through advocacy, leadership, and community-focused initiatives, Gloria strives to create meaningful, lasting change in her local community, and beyond. ‎
