ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2018
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations. 30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 530 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year.
The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 310,000 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project
University Climate Delegation Coalition (UCDC) is a growing collaborative of youth across the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change via the annual COP conferences. UCDC serves to engage young academics in the climate sphere with the institutions of the UN in order to motivate more of them to connect, collaborate, and convey their ideas. Starting from a cohort of 10 university groups and a letter to Congress, UCDC aims to reach up to 50 more University signatories on its annual congressional letter this December.
About the Millennium Fellow
Keyon Rostamnezhad is a rising Junior at Northeastern University studying International Affairs and Economics. He is committed so security and sustainability studies, having served as the university delegate to COP23 climate conference in Bonn and researched global governance at the UN Geneva. Keyon is also exploring forthcoming climate business ventures in order to integrate the sustainable development goals with the private sector and the public.
