“I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow and meet more people who share my passion for working on making positive change locally and around the globe. I think that the platform of coming together to create change that the Millennium Fellowship provides is truly unique, and I am eager to discuss the projects that my peers are working on so that I can discuss with and learn from them. The only way to create large scale change is for a group of driven and similarly goal oriented individuals to put their minds together to work on a solution, and I believe that the Millennium Fellowship provides a space for students to do just that, and I am thrilled to be a part of such a group.”

Millennium Fellowship Project

Brandeis Society for International Affairs (BSIA) is a society for all students at Brandeis. BSIA is interested in public and global affairs and looks to engage with interesting professors, speakers, and other students. Through this club, the BSIA team aims to educate Brandeis students and beyond about global issues and provide an inclusive and open minded space for people to discuss such global issues. As this club is new to campus, their goal is to generate more attendance and knowledge of the club so that their discussions can be even more impactful and full of varying opinions. The club is advancing SDG #16 and UNAI #8. With the club’s focus on inclusivity and education in talking about global issues, they hope to create a welcoming environment in which students can discuss how to create positive global change.
