ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2018

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations.  30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 530 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year. 

The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 310,000 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project

Mender is a platform that helps connect people with technical careers and clients seeking their services. It is providing a powerful tool to the workers and a faster, easier, and safer search tool for customers seeking these services. The project aims to impact and recruit more workers with the help of the technical schools who prepared people in this careers, reaching at least 20 workers and increment the amount of projects done.

About the Millennium Fellow

Pedro is a student at the University of Monterrey. He is studying industrial design. He has joined several groups that help and create initiatives to help vulnerable parts of society and he has been the leader of 3 projects and has helped in over 7 projects done in the ENACTUS chapter of the university. Now, he is helping in two projects, MWorks and Changemakers and he is developing his own project - Mender.
