United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations.  30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 530 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year. 

The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 310,000 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project

The project 'Care and Love For All' is under the UN SDG Combating poverty through education that tends to teach simple skills like soap and candle making to homeless kids so as to enable them obtain a living and later with accumulation of profits fulfill their life time dreams as they go back to school. The project also gives back the hope of love to these kids through grouping them into families which with respective family head to ensure love and care for each other. By November, the project team would like to ensure that at least each family can raise 80USD as it profits per month, also assess unity among each family

About the Millennium Fellow

Siperia Mollie Saasiraabo is a passionate leader who so much believes in dying for what she believes and stands for! She is a student at Makerere University Kampala Uganda pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and so much privileged to be under the MasterCard foundation scholarship. Her life stands on three major principles: humility, empathy and selflessness. These three principles have driven, shaped, and modeled her into a better visionary person day by day.  What inspires and keeps Siperia Mollie Saasiraabo going are all the beings in the females specie that she sees suffering exploitation, demoralization, violence and all sorts of harassment and unfairness. It gives her the zeal to push on and achieve her dream gender parity not only in her country but the world at large.
