United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,092 Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2019 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 978,400 people worldwide this year.
“Words go beyond the excitement I feel being amongst the selected fellows of the Millennium Fellowship class of 2019. It's an ample learning opportunity and avenue to inculcate, impact and educate the larger community. I look forward to interacting with other cohorts of impeccable qualities. Adopting John Donne's Devotions (1624) “No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main.” Together we get to share ideas, acquire knowledge and learn motivatedly for the greater purpose of serving the good of humanity.”
Millennium Fellowship Project: Teen-Aid
Teen-Aid provides an atmosphere for the enlightenment of young individuals about the dangers of premarital sex, unprotected sex, and early pregnancy and provides a healthy solution to the risk and consequences.
I hope to achieve an outreach for teenagers in secondary schools touching on the essentials of the project, experiences will be shared if any and adequate advice will be given accordingly.
