ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,092 Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2019 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. Millennium Fellows' Projects are projected to positively impact the lives of over 978,400 people worldwide this year.

Millennium Fellowship Project: A child a meal
Simon Paulina Ohi will be organizing a project tagged “'A child a meal” program where she will be feeding not less than 100 indigent children in an orphanage home in Jos, Plaeteau state, Nigeria. Additionally, Simon will be organizing a youth and a campus program at her university, where she will be educating and creating awareness about the 17 goals of SDGs to the students. The goal of this program is to get more hands-on-deck to advance the SDGs and to be able to participate effectively in all the goals and making sure we achieve success at large.

Currently studying Plant science and biotechnology 200L, a passionate and devoted leader that has the heart of her people and the development of the country at heart.
