ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Name: Youth Perspective.

Youth Perspective is an initiative for maximizing youth involvement in sustainable development by putting together a community of writers tasked with creating quality content that addresses and provides in depth scholarly study of socio-economic and socio-political problems that are a hurdle in the journey towards Development. This content in the form of studies, features and articles will be hosted on our website with global outreach with the aim of approaching global community and concerned international agencies to provide solutions. Additionally, the existing body of writers has put together a curriculum that will be taught to more university students who want to be the part of the community of young change makers. The initiative will also highlight the preexisting and underway projects by governmental and nongovernmental agencies that tackle the problems and will link them up to the global communities working towards the same goals for exchange of ideas and solutions.

About the Millennium Fellow

Short Biography: Misbah Noreen is an undergraduate student of International Relations at University of Sargodha.She participated in school saftey training course conducted by Punjab emergency service and participated in training program MS. Office at Gov. Vocational Training Institute Abbad Mianwali. She is currently serving as a volunteer at a blood donor society known as"Give blood, Give life" and Volunteer Force Pakistan(VFP). She is highly active in all social communities.Recently She had taught as a teacher at Gazali Education Trust(GET) school Mianwali in 2017.Within her one year working experience at trust school,it would bring her close to the real fact of life. With her great struggle and passion she won several appreciation. Moreover,she has been working on quality education for all,gender parity, women and youth empowerment.Her aim in life is to make the world a better place for all human beings irrespective of color caste and religion.She uses satire to tackle the world's weighty problems.She want to become a social butterfly.
