Our Global Impact
Our Global Impact
MCN launched the Millennium Fellowship in 2013 to convene, challenge, and celebrate student leadership for social impact. Beginning in 2018, MCN and United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) partnered to present the Millennium Fellowship, creating a robust global network of undergraduate leaders advancing UN goals.

Student leaders worldwide were invited to join an extraordinary community of young leaders advancing the Sustainable Development Goals in their respective communities. In 2023, 259 campuses worldwide (just 9%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows. Millennium Fellows' Projects have positively impacted the lives of over 1.3 million people worldwide in 2023.

To support the intended impact, the Millennium Fellowship provides student leaders with the training, connections, and recognition. See below our full 2023 Impact Report followed by our highlights from the report.
