ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Your Health is Wealth (Y.H.W)

Your Health is wealth (YHW) is a health promotion and disease prevention project aimed at improving the sanitation at hostels and neighbouring communities of Mbarara university of science and technology. It involves health education sessions and practical demonstrations on good sanitation measures

About the Millennium Fellow

Draleru peace is a young, intelligent, hardworking and a "go-getter"; Nursing student(BSN) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda.Born in Uganda, Draleru grew up at an orphanage from an early age. As a leader at the orphanage, she learned humanitarianism and realised the need for selfless and generous service to everyone. Since then, she has volunteered to work at refugee camps and organised projects with positive impacts. Draleru wishes to be a professional who will carryout projects in order to teach, help and advocate for her patients so as to contribute to the UN sustainable goals.
