ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: BionHealth

BionHealth is a project that aims to bridge the gap created by health inequalities and inaccessibility, through the use of digital technology, making access and delivery of healthcare just a click away. It involves creating an online platform where medical consultations can take place.

About the Millennium Fellow

Naheemat Muhammed Umar is a compassionate, goal driven and detail oriented graduate of Human Anatomy, A. B. U, Zaria. She's currently running a degree in Medicine at University of Ilorin. Being an active team player, a critical thinker and a problem solver, Naheemat has always been passionate about spreading positivity and making impacts. She's enthusiastic about community development and voluntary service. She recently led a team that made reusable and filter inserted fabric face mask which was distributed to the frontline workers to curb the spread of Covid-19. She has a certification in Health, Safety and Environment.
Her philosophy is that everyone has a role to play in making positive impacts, no matter how little, to make the world a better place.
