Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainability under Microscope
Sustainability under Microscope is an individual project led by Sustainability Evangelist, Ayantika, which aims at spreading knowledge on how Sustainability is becoming an essential element of the industry, and at the same time bringing creative Opportunities.
The project aims at conducting at least 10 awareness sessions by December 2021 and to impact the lives of 1000+ youth and sustainability enthusiasts by sharing knowledge on various topics of Sustainable Development Goals and covers aspects of Climate Change, Sustainability, Career and Entrepreneurship.
One of the sub-part of this project, other than the awareness session, is creating a podcast with the objective to create a legacy and evergreen content around the same topic and aspects mentioned above that aims at impacting the lives and helping develop the mindset of 1000s of youth and sustainability enthusiasts. The project also aims at collaborating with NPOs and NGOs to help reach the target!
About the Millennium Fellow
Ayantika Dutta is a young sustainability evangelist. She is currently pursuing her BSc (hons) in Sustainable Development and is in her pre-graduation year. She has built her own community called “Climate and Sustainability” of 170+ members, worked at various organisations namely Climate Collective, Sustain and Save, Mobility Alliance and Social Sustainability Foundation, India’s first Waste Commerce Company named ‘Recykal’ providing Cloud Based Solutions for plastic and e-waste. Built teams from scratch of 30+ members some of which are still growing, advocated about climate change and sustainability by doing 50+ webinars and influenced youth to study in this domain, have earned the title of Climate Reality Leader, been a speaker in “The Climate Action Young Leaders Summit'' by Project Enviro Aware and recently have also joined as one of the first 14 members of C40 cities Youth & Mayors Forum where she along with 13 other fellow youth members are working closely with Mayors from Colombia, Austin, Freetown, Auckland, Paris and many other cities for shaping the visions of The Green New Deal and making it into a reality. All because of one reason - PASSION!
