About the Millennium Fellow

akshada shedge; is a pensive and an empathetic future clinical psychologist; her passion for psychology led her to Amity University, where she's a first-year student pursuing an M.Phil and PhD in the field with human rights as her minor track elective, living in Navi mumbai, maharashtra in India,
She has always been passionate about social justice and advocacy, and servitude is something that comes naturally to her.
This drive has also manifested itself in her own life through her dedicated social action, throughout her school years and even now as a university student, she has successfully organised various successful philanthropic programmes as a former student council member, she even has leadership skills in her arsenal due to these projects.
She currently works in mental health services as it not only allows students like her to grow personally, but it also feeds her curiosity about human nature and behaviour. Mental health has always been a neglected issue, and she seeks to advocate for more affordable mental health services through her field, as well as contribute to the development of the United Nations' sustainable goals through this project. Despite the fact that her SDG is related to hunger, she wishes to pursue it on an individual level by making a difference.
she's fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi, and is currently working on her German and Japanese.
