" I believe that the Millennium Fellowship will afford me the opportunity to meet and work closely with other like-minded individuals. In this regard, we can collectively put our efforts towards making a positive difference in the lives of others. In addition, I believe the active alumni organization that is part of the Millennium Fellowship will enable me to continue to network and further develop impactful relationships. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Eagles for Educational Equity
Eagles for Educational Equity is a Boston College student-led program that partners with Boston Public School students. Eagles for Educational Equity brings flexibility, an open-mind, and creativity to the college application process for students with higher education aspirations. In listening to student voices and acting in response, we hope to alleviate barriers and concerns to the college process so that students in the Boston Public School area can feel empowered in creating the future they want for themselves. We hope to reduce the education gap by providing resources to students who may otherwise not have access.
