I aim to take this opportunity to realise my vision and leave a positive impact on the society.
The Millennium Fellowship will help me to flourish as a leader. I am excited to teach as well as learn from people all across the world, and make a difference. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: E4E - Education for Everyone
Education for Everyone (EfE) is an initiative that I have envisioned where I aim to create a system where we can properly come up with a plan to provide education to underprivileged children living near my college campus, Delhi Technological University.
Through this initiative I aim to directly advance SDG 4, Quality Education, UNAI principle 4, Education for All and indirectly affect SDG 1, No Poverty, SDG 5 Gender Equality by emphasizing education of girls
About the Millennium Fellow
Digant Rastogi is a passionate and detail-oriented senior Electrical Engineering student at Delhi Technological University in India. He was born in Lucknow and brought up in New Delhi, India. Digant strongly believes in bringing technology and sustainability even closer and that the path to sustainability can be found through technology and not going against it. He has always been passionate about reading and debating about global issues and policy making.
Digant has a vision that holds the potential to change the world which combined with his values of determination and creativity can definitely bring a revolution. Coming from a family background with strong academics, he has always strongly believed in the value of quality of education and its potential to change anyone’s life. Thus, he is tirelessly working towards SDG 4 (Quality Education) and UNAI principles 4, 5, 6 and 9. Digant’s background in engineering has encouraged him to build solutions using technology that aid sustainability rather than challenge it. He is passionate and motivated towards SDG 9 (Sustainable Industrialization) and SDG 11 (Sustainable cities) and is working on using smart cities to make transportation and living in cities more efficient and environmentally sound.
Digant aspires to be a leader in the future and contribute to society for its collective growth.
