Millennium Fellowship Project: Women's Empowerment and Awareness Creation on Women Right
While doing our project on womens right and women empowerment me and Sumeya agreed to fo.our projects collaborating since it has the same objective it. Sue to.the reason that we were on break during the begning of millennium fellowship we reached on agreement that we should reshape our campaign to social media campaign which enables us to reach many people who are at different area and we chose telegram application since most of the youth in our country and stundents in our campus use telegram. Luckly sumeya has a telegram channel which focuses on women empowerment and we continued our campaign using that channel. We have been posting contents which we believed will empower women like the stories of resilent women who are victim of sexual violence but that didnot stop them from becaming successful and making a change and we have been sharing on some legal protection given to women so that women can self advocate to their own right. The channel has around 70 memebers and we have been trying to post atleast 2 to 3 times a month and the name of the channel is "women tranquility"
besides that we have been working with our other cohorts salem yeneneh on quality education and reafing habit of students at primary stage because we believe that education is an empowering human right and educating women is empowering women mentality and economically for betterment of her life. With that belive we went to local school which gives free education for students we have been preparing workbooks and shits fie student that they can do at there home and donated some books that we can find.
