Millennium Fellowship Project: KAAYAM

Project Kaayam is an extended version of my NGO- Kaayam Foundation that I started along with my friends in 2021 and is now a team of 50 volunteers. Kaayam is a student-led Non-Profit initiative that works for social awareness and imparting education on important social topics. We work for SDGs 3, 4, and 5 which are Health and well-being, Quality Education, and Gender Equality respectively. The word ‘Kaayam’ comes from the Hindi language and means ‘Persistency’ in English. As a student-led community, we wish to foster an inclusive space where people from all walks of life, feel safe and heard.
