1. Many students in Pakistan are unable to attend top universities due to financial constraints. Additionally, even those students who are enrolled in a university may not be able to take additional courses from other departments (in case courses from other departments interest them), as taking additional courses costs extra money.
2. The slides given by professors do not contain detailed information, and most of the students are not able to understand complex language used in slides, as well as course textbooks. Not only that, but it is also hard for students to find textbooks over the internet for their courses since most of them are not publicly available.
3. When college students come to university, they don’t have guided learning paths to pursue their interests, which wastes a lot of their time initial time which they could utilize in efficiently learning new skills. There is no standard platform for students to connect to their seniors and take guidance from them. Moreover, there is no standard platform for students of different universities to connect to peers and seniors across different universities, for sharing help and resources.
There is a dire need for a platform where students from ALL universities of Pakistan can connect, give and take guidance from each other, and upload the course materials of their degree so that anyone can access those anywhere, anytime. Since it is possible that some student, who is not enrolled in a university or college at all due to his financial problems, will be accessing our website to learn some course, there should be an integrated AI Chatbot (or ai tutor), to whom such students can upload a PDF (of any size) and ask questions regarding that PDF to clear their concepts.
