On Tuesday, August 27th at 10.00 am EDT, we hear from Mr. Ramu Damodaran.
Mr. Ramu Damodaran has worked at the United Nations for more than thirty years, most recently as Chief of Partnerships and Public Engagement in the United Nations Department of Global Communications until May 2021.
His responsibilities included relationships with civil society, the creative community and celebrity advocates, publications (as Chief Editor of the UN Chronicle), the Dag Hammarskjold Library and the United Nations Academic Impact. He has also been the Secretary of the United Nations General Assembly’s Committee on Information from 2011 to 2021.
Ramu Damodaran is a member of the Leadership Council of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and a senior adviser to the University for Peace. In addition to regular speaking engagements at universities and civil society organizations globally, he has taught and conducted courses on the United Nations at New York University, at…
