" Dependable and imaginative with a positive and upbeat attitude. As a global citizen and an African leader whose passion is to unleash young people's hope, being part of the Millennium Fellowship will help boost and strengthen my skills and create more opportunities for me to explore in SDG's #1, #2 and #3. I am excited to increase my skills from the fellowship so as to create a peaceful society where young people can learn, earn and thrive. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Agriculture For Sustainability
Food production in Africa, especially South Sudan, and other parts of Africa has been low for years. This has led to severe hunger that has been affecting vulnerable people across the country. South Sudan imports almost 75% of food from neighbouring countries despite the fact that 80% of its land is suitable for agriculture. Cases of death as a result of starvation are reported yearly in most parts of South Sudan. Agriculture for Sustainability is conceived to address all these problems.
