ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2021

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In 2021, over 25,000 young leaders on 2,000+ campuses across 153 nations applied to join the Class of 2021. 136 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 2,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2021 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" One of my key drives in life is to work towards contributing to society and empower it and make it a better place, being empowered as a Millennium Fellow, it will serve as a platform for me to gain more experience and help to
accelerate my contribution towards empowering the society while acting as an
inspirational pillar in my future social serving work. It is also an opportunity to work under a dynamic leadership development program brought by dynamic institutions, United Nations and MCN, with an incredible structure that will empower me to better work on my goals and serve a significant purpose in helping me to network and connect with like-minded people.
In my journey towards my contributions to society, I always looked and learned while serving in the society to serve the greater good and make the serves reach greater populations while deploying the technology in this journey and with his distinction, it will accelerate my moral to gain experience which will serve as a key essence in my future actions towards my actions in empowering the society. This distinction’s experience is probably a key contributor to my goal of reaching more people and institutions and deploying modern technologies to serve and move ahead with the connections and knowledge at this fellowship. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project R.I.S.E.

Project R.I.S.E. (Raising awareness. Imparting knowledge. Serving society. Educating people) is an initiative taken by a group of 8 Millennium Fellows of 2021 from Amity University Mumbai. We are working towards SDG 4: Quality Education and UN Academic Impact Principle #3 Education for All. Unlike traditional education, our team believes in holistic education where all types of needs of a person are catered to. This contributes to the overall development of a student and helps them grow mentally, physically, and socially. Our team had envisioned a few projects for the period of September to November 2021, that we believe have the potential to create a small, but the meaningful impact in the lives of the people we serve. This includes a donation drive, a series of educational webinars with emphasis on vocational training, and the publishing of an E-Book which will cover information and articles on all necessary topics that our project intends to spread awareness about.

About the Millennium Fellow

Remya R Nair is an Organised, Hardworking, Diligent, and responsible upcoming professional, pursuing her Dual Degree in Biotechnology from Amity University Mumbai.
A well-read Senior class Student at the Amity Institute of Biotechnology. She is highly dedicated to her field and aspires towards encountering health problems through her research in the domain. With an eye for detail and her way around problems, Remya’s immersed dedication includes environmental safety, Sustainable growth, and the rights of individuals.
From an early start with her science projects promoted to National level, Research Studies in High school, Remya thrilled intellects with her ideologies and proof of concepts in her project developments.
Focused on her goals and dedication, Remya aspires to contribute her share towards a sustainable and empowered society by United Nation’s Approaches.
