" Being a Millennium Fellow is a dream come true. This is because it gives me a great platform to meet with like-minded individuals, collaborate with them and create sustainable development and growth in my community and in the world at large. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Nutrify

Nutrify aims to use education to teach young students about their diet quality. The project advances SDG(s): SDG 3 & 4. Good health and quality well-being(3), Quality Education (4). The project was launched due to the hike in food insecurity in the nation (Nigeria) which has resulted in individuals especially youths aged (10-18) feeding inadequately. Most times they feed on junk food hence poor diet quality. This has slowly created a cycle of feeding inadequately, poor feeding conditions and shortage of life span across the nation.

Being fully conscious and aware of happenings around us, we decided to create a foundational and solution to the issue. This solution entails reaching out to secondary school students within the ages of 12-16 and enlightening them on good nutrition and how to eat healthy with the resources available in their communities despite the state inhabited food insecurity in the nation.
