To ensure maximum utilisation and sharing of educational content,I plan to build an integrated application to share resources using the powerful capabilities of internet.The following are the features that I would be including in the website:
1.An option for users to share and donate their books and resources through our platform:-Users can utilise the website to list the textbooks that they own and no more require.These textbooks can then be donated to anyone who is in need of that book or resource for free of cost.The website can act as a means of communication for such users.The user on donating his book, would attain credits which can be later used for claiming a paid book or course for free.This would of great advantage of students and users who cannot afford to buy new textbooks and it will also ensure the maximum and efficient utilisation of resources.
2.Curating the best and educational videos,documentations and notes on a wide variety of topics from all over the internet in the website.
Users are also given the option to add resources they find useful to our application and rate the resources as well.
3.Broadcasting details of free webinars and internships to users who have signed up using their phone numbers and subscribed to the broadcast facility.
4.Educational strategies including roadmaps and mnemonics will be uploaded on topics of user interest so that it will help users in learning things better.
About the Millennium Fellow
Gowri J is a student at Government Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara,India. She is currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. She is keen about her academic activities and in extending and sharing her knowledge to the benefit of the society .She is reliable, dedicated and eternally upbeat. Gowri has remained inclusive with her peers throughout and is sure to show this in her work too. Working with this project and becoming a Fellow will aid a lot in her growth in the coming years by giving her confidence to take up more such social works.
