Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Kaleidocare
The primary objective of my project is to create a mechanism for supporting those who are especially challenged. As a law student, I firmly think that every good idea must be advocated with every available tool in order to have an impact on society. Currently, this promotion must be carried out by students like us who are committed to upholding their social responsibilities. Even in 2023, despite significant changes in our society throughout time, persons with special needs still have to deal with hardships that shouldn't exist. The goal of this project is to increase understanding of the real lives of those dealing with challenges. It is a social awareness project which will put more emphasis on educating and empowering people who have special needs with their rights so that they can become their own advocates, rather than other people fighting for their rights. The project aims to take every person a step further to wherever they are in terms of this issue by assisting them in whichever way possible. I believe as a person I should always be considerate of their struggles and do everything in my power to make someone else's life a little bit easier every day. The project would include creating interactive campaigns, legal knowledge classes, forming communication groups, and various other activities. The main idea of the project is join individuals who will create a society that has true sense of equality and where everyone feels that they are 'capable'. The project also focuses in engaging people with disabilities in the decision-making process. The goal of the initiative is to raise awareness and empower anyone with special needs by making progress and establishing an environment free from prejudice. We will be able to provide legal assistance, knowledge assistance, and financial assistance throughout the project.
