Millennium Fellowship Project: Gratitude, Resilience, Authenticity, Teamwork, and Habilitation (Great Hubs)

This project first focuses on empowering female students in order for them to succeed in their education initiative. It then also extended to catering for male students at secondary school so that we can bridge the gap between both genders. This will be accomplished through mentorship, mental health support, sporting activities, offering resources such as sanitary pads, food items, and stationary, and emotional support to help them overcome barriers and achieve ther goals.

About the Millennium Fellow

Lynnette Chataika is a young motivated student who is ready to seize opportunities but also create them for others. Lynette is a Mass Communication student enrolled at African Bible College, Malawi. She is a current resident in Malawi, born and raised. As a motivated person she has always strived to create a safe and healthy environment for the young people and women in society. This passion has pushed her into serving the community in so many different ways. She organized projects aimed at helping fellow youth with some of the issues that we currently face at the same time volunteering with organizations such as Live Love and Manna House Ministries available at the school. She together with several other youth hold talks with community youth members encouraging them to stay in school but also be goal oriented despite their backgrounds. She is a young leader and motivated to accomplish so much for the youth. With her zeal and passion she hopes to cultivate these advocacies and further contribute to the development of the United Nations’ sustainable Goals.
