" They say knowledge is power; I think that knowledge on its own is already more than enough. By connecting with as many people as possible, I want to learn as much as I can while building a network that allows us to share knowledge with others too. If you feel the same way, good: reach out to me! "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Fighting Fake News

In the modern world, with advancing technological innovations and increased accessibility to media platforms, the options for seeking necessary sources have grown proportionally. However, it is extremely challenging to identify sources that are valid, relevant, and, most importantly, truthful. Our project, titled Fighting Fake News and Disinformation, aims to equip high school students with the necessary skills to detect fake information, identify credible sources, and advocate for just and fair political institutions, particularly during election periods.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sarah Hinteregger is currently studying at two universities. She is pursuing a History & Philosophy degree at Central European University and a law degree at the University of Vienna. Her upbringing and education, split across 7 different countries, has fostered a love for learning, interculturalism, and the transmission of knowledge across state borders and societal boundaries. She hopes her recipe book, a constant companion on her travels, will also one day be shared across those borders and boundaries. After she graduates, Sarah plans to pursue higher education through graduate programs in either law or history.
