" I am excited for the knowledge and experience that I would gain. Making a tangible
impact in the environment, helping people become the best version of themselves
through education and creating a more sustainable environment, fuel my drive. Being
a part of the Millennium Fellowship will help to enhance my skills and the skills I gain
from the Millennium Fellowship will make my social impact on schools and business
more tangible and aligned with the SDGs. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: EduRecycle

The project originally aimed to create awareness about plastic pollution among university students by organizing campaigns and implementing a reward system to encourage sustainable practices. However, despite these efforts, there was no significant behavioral change, as students and adults were deeply entrenched in their plastic usage habits. This led to a strategic pivot toward targeting secondary school students. The revised initiative focuses on educating younger generations about the dangers of plastic pollution through interactive classes and practical activities. By addressing the issue at its root, the project aims to foster a cultural shift away from plastic dependency and instill sustainable habits that can create long-term environmental impact.
