Millennium Fellowship Project: Veeransh

The name "Veeransh" is a tribute to the unmatched courage and sacrifice of our soldiers. Derived from the Hindi words "Veer," meaning brave or valiant, and "Ansh," meaning a part or fragment, the name symbolizes that the children of fallen soldiers are not just the next generation—they are the living fragments of the bravery, dedication, and honor embodied by their parents. Veeransh is an online community platform developed to support and connect the children of fallen soldiers, providing them with a safe space to grieve, share, and heal. In collaboration with the Indian Army Veterans Association, Veeransh aims to address the social and emotional needs of these children by offering resources such as financial guidance, counseling, educational support, and community bonding.
