I can't wait to dive into conversations that challenge my thinking, learn from the experiences of others, and contribute my own quirky ideas to tackle real-world issues. The chance to collaborate with such a diverse and passionate global community is an opportunity I'm ready to grab with both hands—let's do this! "

Millennium Fellowship Project: ZOOk

"Zook" is a device designed to bridge communication gaps between individuals with speech and hearing impairments and those without these challenges. The system allows for seamless, two-way conversation by translating sign language or non-verbal cues into speech and vice versa, ensuring that both parties can interact effortlessly. This device aims to promote inclusion and accessibility, empowering individuals to participate more fully in social, educational, and professional environments.
With its user-centric design, "Zook" focuses on ease of use, portability, and real-time functionality. The system incorporates advanced technology such as voice recognition and gesture analysis to facilitate communication without relying on specialized training or external aids. Ultimately, the device is designed to create an environment where individuals with different communication needs can engage in meaningful, equitable conversations, fostering greater social inclusion.
