" My work is deeply rooted in the understanding that it is not just theoretical, but also deeply personal and urgent. As a Millennium Fellow, I hope to contribute meaningfully, building on what has been established with care and intention. Driven by the MCN belief that through thoughtful action, we can create real, lasting change. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Southward BioForge Group
Southward BioForge Group (SBG) bridges the gap between innovative HIV prevention technologies and underserved communities in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and South America. By addressing barriers like stigma and inadequate distribution, SBG develops region-specific strategies to increase access to long-lasting injectable PrEP. Through partnerships with biotech leaders and community engagement, SBG empowers adolescent women in high-risk regions, fostering equitable access to prevention tools and driving progress toward global health equity.
