Global Webinar with Ramu Damodaran

On Thursday, October 5th at 11 am, Ramu Damodaran speaks with Millennium Fellows. Mr. Ramu Damodaran worked at the United Nations for more than thirty years, including as Chief of Partnerships and Public Engagement in the United Nations Department of Global Communications until May 2021. He also served as First Chief of the United Nations Academic Impact, where he was vital in building the partnership that made the Millennium Fellowship possible. Ramu Damodaran is a member of the Leadership Council of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and a senior adviser to the University for Peace. In addition to regular speaking engagements at universities and civil society organizations globally, he has taught and conducted courses on the United Nations at New York University, at Kyung-Hee University in the Republic of Korea and at Macquarie University in Australia.

Mr Damodaran has been a member of the Indian Foreign Service, where he was promoted to the rank of Ambassador. He served as Executive Assistant to the Prime Minister of India in the 90s, as well as in the diplomatic missions in Moscow and to the United Nations, and in a range of national governmental ministries
