About
On Tuesday, October 24th at 1.00 pm EDT, we host a special session to go over the Millennium Fellowship Social Impact Tour submissions. All Fellows are expected to submit a Social Impact Tour video covering their project plans and execution, and the impact the Fellowship has had on their leadership. We will be joined by Daniela Kon, founder and CEO of Sima Academy. Daniela is a global media executive, educator and veteran impact producer whose career at the intersection of human rights, community development and non-fiction storytelling spans over two decades. SIMA Academy utilizes the storytelling power of award-winning global short documentaries to nurture globally competent and socially active learners worldwide. All Class of 2023 Millennium Fellows have been granted complimentary access to the SIMA platform (information on registering can be found on your portal).
Daniela and Team MCN will cover The power of visual storytelling and the importance of documenting our social impact work and projects, The importance of Ethos, Authenticity and Transparency when telling the story, and MCN's partnership with SIMA Academy. We will also speak generally about what Social Impact Tour submissions should look like, and offer guidance + answer questions arising. This will be a special session that we hope you can make time to attend.
