Becker College | Massachusetts, United States | Advancing SDG 15 & UNAI 9
" I am extremely excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it allows me to not only educate myself on new topics but I also have the opportunity to hopefully inspire and educate others to care about the sustainability of animals in the wild as well. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Saving Endangered Species
I took this project as an opportunity to educate as many people as possible about endangered species that need our help. I chose the local specie, Piping Plover, which is a sea bird who needs our help. I held education lectures as well as hands on learning with children.
About the Millennium Fellow
I am a Biology Major at Becker college aspiring to be a wildlife biologist. For my future I would love to work at a research facility that works with zoos and other wildlife organizations to help support and regrow the populations of endangered species in the wild. I truly appreciate and enjoy all nature has to offer and hope to be able to preserve its beauty in these trying times.
