ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2018
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations. 30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 402 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year.
The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 48,785 hours and their 214 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 393,449 people worldwide.

" I am joining basically to learn from peers new methods of executing projects and share ideas ,and also to make necessary connection which will help me widen the horizon of my impact.
I do what I do because it is rampant in this part of the world seeing people coming down with communicable diseases which they could have prevented themselves from if they have got information about in the first place, and also low income people often find it difficult to afford hospital bill which has led to death in many cases. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Health and Education Awareness
health and education awareness is a project which focusses on ensuring that people especially rural populace are aware of behaviours that have adverse effect on their health.
we have carried out online awareness on how to communicate health messages in order to avoid rumour and stereotype which are common with health information if improperly disseminated.
we have also did outreach in Bodija area of Ibadan where in we educate local people on risky sexual behaviour which may lead to teenage pregnancy and/or sexually transmitted infections.
we have been able to reach out to about 300 people in Ibadan and around across the world
