ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2018

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations. 30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 402 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year.

The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 48,785 hours and their 214 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 393,449 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Ibadan Volunteers. Hub

*Ibadan Volunteers Hub* is an
initiative of community service with a network of selfless and *passionate VOLUNTEERS* that seek to link young people to professional volunteering opportunities in Ibadan, Nigeria.

*Ibadan Volunteers hub also provides every form of professional volunteering services to Non governmental organizations (NGOs) and social enterprise, events and conferences.*

We use our volunteering services to enhance skills in our VOLUNTEERS and also encourage personal development in young people.

We offer services such as logistics management, ushering, registration, protocol management, both social media and offline publicity for wider coverage.

We seek to improve the mental and emotional health of young people, improve entrepreneurial and business skills, improve academic excellence, build team spirit and increase networking through volunteering, these enable volunteers to have work experience and be employable.

*Benefits of being a member of Ibadan Volunteers Hub are as follows -*

1. Free monthly entrepreneurship training by one of the largest entrepreneurship networks in Ibadan

About the Millennium Fellow

Obia Sunday is a 400 level student of the faculty of law,University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Currently a driving member of Ibadan Volunteers Hub. He is a student leader and a dedicated legal adviser to persons and organization. It's the zeal to serve the humanity that made him embrace the idea of volunteering and it's to further this that made him join MCN
