" I am so thrilled to be a Millennium fellow! I see this as a grand opportunity for me to learn from and share my thoughts with visionary changemakers from different parts of the world. I do what I do because I am passionate about impacts. It's humbling to share a learning platform with persons who are also passionate about change. I believe that at the end of my fellowship, I will be a better leader and a more result- oriented person. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Scribble The Future (STF)

Scribble the Future (STF) is an initiative that seeks to improve the reading culture of young persons, especially females, in Nigeria, by utilising the tool of poetry. We organise an annual literary conference which features panellists who are passionate about teenagers, females, capacity building and education. The target audience includes young people (males and females) as well as secondary school students, as we have realised that the poor reading culture of Nigerian youths stems from their poor foundation. We also hold book donations and literary outreaches to public secondary schools. The outreaches are geared towards encouraging the students to take education and reading seriously. We also organise an annual poetry anthology compilation for females to encourage more female voices in the literary space. Annually, about 100—150 persons are impacted by our works.
