" I’m excited to be a Millennium fellow because I want to bring awareness about the disease to alter the minds of the younger generation to eat, think, and share the knowledge to the later generations. I work for the upcoming generations because I want to stir the mindset away from irrelevant conversations to informal conversations and discussions the world needs to here "

About the Millennium Fellow
Coming from a place where opportunities are limited and chances are never giving but earned, I saw through those stereotypes and began my journey as being a scholar and stepping outside my comfort zone. Seeing how society treats my color of people, gave me a deep burning desire to stand up for a change within my community. Making myself feel uncomfortable in every way was the plan because I see this as the first step of gaining everything I worked for. Not talking about my struggle but the struggle of my people is what gives me the drive to stepping outside my comfort zone.
