ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2018
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations. 30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 402 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year.
The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 48,785 hours and their 214 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 393,449 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: It's H.E.R. Business
It's H.E.R. Business is an ethical fashion brand that creates up-cycled jean jackets to help people who have been sexually and domestically abused, are not able to obtain adequate education and or suffer from poverty. We held a trunk show to raise money for a school in Rwanda that is on the brink of being closed down
About the Millennium Fellow
I am a rising senior film and television major at Lynn University. I am the president of the black student union here on my campus as well as a community advisor for residential life. I enjoy eating pineapples and hanging out with friends and watching the classic Breakfast Club. I am the founder of VOICE, an organization dedicated to helping survivors of sexual abuse tell their stories through the arts.
